Caring Connections is a service we deliver in partnership with Stand Out Northamptonshire, to improve the mental health, education and employment outcomes for children and young people in Care and for Care Leavers.

Happy Heads

Support for those under 11 years old to build confidence and resilience. Also support with transitioning from primary to secondary school.

 

Northamptonshire Support after Suicide Service - NSASS

The Northamptonshire Support after Suicide Service is designed to provide guidance and support to families have have been bereaved by suicide. Both emotional and practical support is offered, including signposting. All referrals have to come from the coroner, and we can work with people of any age. 

 

Opal Project

The opal project provides one-to-one and group based support around self-harm.

 

Support+

Solution Focused support for mental health and wellbeing issues for those aged 11 and over.

 

TARGET

Targeting and Reducing Grooming, Exploitation and Trading of Children and Young people Online. The TARGET project provides help and support with issues around online safety, including grooming and exploitation.

 

Wellbeing Drop-ins - Espresso Yourself

Service Six run wellbeing drop-ins for those aged 11-18 years. No appointment is necessary, and anyone is welcome.

Tuesday 4-8pm - Rushden Mind

Saturday 10-2 - Service Six office in Wellingborough 

 

Youth Clubs

Service Six run two different youth clubs during the week

Kidz on the Mews

Kidz on the Mews is a youth club that runs every Monday from 4-6pm. This particular youth club is for those aged 5-11 years old. They can come along for a couple of hours, do plenty of activities, make new friends and have lots of fun.

Out There - LGBTQ+ youth group

Out There is our LGBTQ+ youth club. Come along to a very welcoming group, to meet other like minded young people, have some fun and make new friends.
