Bid Writer & Fundraiser (Part Time)

Job Purpose;

The Bid Writer & Fundraiser will be responsible for building awareness of Service Six, organizing and managing innovative and key fundraising events, building relationships with corporate partners and supporting the Chief Executive with research, designing, writing and submitting detailed applications for capital and/or revenue funds to relevant grant-making bodies to develop the charity’s services.

 

Salary: £29,600 per annum (pro rata)

Hours per week: 22 ½ per week (3 days)

Place of work will be Northamptonshire and surrounding areas

To work with children, young people and adults using brief solution focused approach and effective communication to facilitate change, to enable clients to overcome challenges and achieve their potential; supported with supervision and adhering to the BACP/Counselling Society Ethical Guidelines.

You will be based at any Service Six location including Wellingborough, Mawsley and Northampton

Qualified Counsellor/ Play Therapist in Milton Keynes Region & Northamptonshire

Service Six is a BACP accredited organisation that offers counselling and play therapy interventions to children and young people across the county of Northamptonshire.  We are looking for a sessional counsellor, preferably BACP accredited or equivalent, who in addition has qualifications from a recognised Play Therapy organisation such as PTUK.  Experience of working with young children who have suffered from severe domestic and/or sexual abuse as well as other complex presenting issues is absolutely necessary.
