Current job opportunities at Service Six

  • Sessional Youth & Support Workers - to work independently and as part of our team, providing 1-2-1 support, mentoring and meaningful activities to young people aged 10-18. We require a flexible approach to working hours and a range of duties you will undertake across Northamptonshire. Ideally experienced in working with Special Educational Needs. We offer a competitive rate and mileage allowance. Please not that this is a self-employed role. Open recruitment


  • TARGET Project Worker – to provide a wide range of advocacy, awareness and support interventions to disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people in a diverse range of settings. This role requires a sound understanding about the issues affecting the lives of children and young people today, especially Child Sexual Exploitation, Online Safety and Unhealthy Teen Relationships. The role requires to be well-organised, confident and flexible to support the TARGET Project Manager in developing and delivering this vital work across Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. 37 hours @ £20,798 annual salary with 28 days holiday, 6% Employer’s Pension Contribution and mileage allowance.   • Service Hub Operative – to support the operational delivery within the Service Hub, including facilitating communication and referral, assessment and service pathway processes, ensuring compliance for contractual services. This role also requires to deal with any enquiries about Service Six’ services effectively and efficiently whether by telephone or email, communicating with clients, parents or professionals. Based in Wellingborough. 25 hours @ £11,486 annual salary with 28 days holiday pro rata and 6% Employer’s Pension Contribution. Application submission deadline is Thursday 2nd May 2019 at 5pm


  • Clerk to Board and Committees – to compile, on behalf of the Chairperson and the Chief Executive, the agenda for meetings, ensure this and any items for consideration are sent to members, collate reports, take and distribute the minutes of the meeting and carry out follow up actions. Apart from attending the meetings (25 per year), the role could be carried out from home, at times to suit the post holder (within agreed deadlines). We offer a competitive rate for up to 16 hours per month. Please not that this is a self-employed role. Application submission deadline is Thursday 2nd May 2019 at 5pm
