The Youth Bridges Project is a new project taking place in both Rushden and Higham Ferrers. Our aim is to help build relationships between young people snd the community, creating a positive youth image and improving communications. We also help to educate and support young people on issues they may not be aware of, such as drugs and alcohol.
Volunteer Scheme
This scheme enables young people through volunteering, to have a positive input within their community. There are 15 places available and the project will run for 10 weeks with sessions held once a fortnight. Each session will last for 3 hours and held at various locations within Rushden and Higham Ferrers. The volunteers will be participating in a variety of work and activities. the benefits of this is both rewarding for the young people and the community.
